GRCH Devilicious Cromarty Gizmo - Nala (or Noo noo)
Nala is our foundation queen and is a Grand Champion. She has also gained 3 Imperial certificates. Only 2 to go before she is made up to an Imperial Grand Champion. She has also won title of Best Devon Rex 2014 and Runner Up Best Devon 2015 (losing out to her brother Zuri) with the Scottish Rex Cat Club.
She has just had her second litter! Nala is a daddy's girl and sometimes takes herself off upstairs to get some peace and quiet. Her favourite things are sinks, sleeping and sitting in boxes! She loves to sit in sinks and play with any water coming out of the tap. We also have to keep any plastic bags or tissue paper out of her reach as she likes to eat them! Nala has a super rippled, soft coat and is of lovely type so I love getting her out to shows when I can, although I hope to have another couple of litters with her so we shall see if we manage to get her out onto the show bench a bit more this year. Thanks to Mandy of Devilicious for letting us have this lovely girl - she's a star!

Glenkens Ness Sprite - Safiya (or Safi)
Safi spends most of her time jumping on our shoulders and purring. She's a typical Devon, quite mischievous and lots of fun. Her favourite thing in the whole world (except for food) is a scrunched up receipt - she will play fetch with these for hours and starts growling as soon as she gets one to warn everyone it is her toy and nobody is getting it! Safi has a lovely head and stunning eyes and her coat is indescribably soft and silky. Unfortunately she has only a subtle wave to her coat, so although she has gained one Challenge Certificate at a show, showing her is not a priority. She has superb kittens however, which is why I have ended up keeping two of them!

Reverelf Serpensortia - Sortia
This is my first homebred girl that I have kept. I have a particularly soft spot for her having nursed her back to health after a brush with near death when she was a tiny baby. I knew very early on she would be staying with us. She is a lovely girl, affectionate and very playful, especially with her step-sister, Esme. She loves her Aunty Nala and she has started taking after her mum, Safi, with the fetching and riding on shoulders. She loves getting under blankets for a snooze and she purrs a lot! I think she has super type although her coat requires some improvement so we will just have to keep everything crossed that she starts knitting that coat! I look forward to getting her back out to a show once her coat improves. Thanks to Adele of Peppadora for helping me to produce this beautiful girl. |
